As we near the end of our first regular session and move immediately into our

summer session, I want to say THANK YOU to each and every one of you.

West Forsyth Christian Preschool could not have found a more wonderful home! From

the very moment of the Session’s final vote on July 10, 2008, you have welcomed our preschool. WFCP has continued

to evolve and has become something about which each of us, our community and God, I believe, can be very proud.

Please indulge me as I point out just a few of the many who have helped us.

Pastor Evans…You embraced the idea of a Christian preschool here at Shallowford from our first meeting. Watching

you as you lead our children in Chapel is delightful, your participation is immensely important. Thank you for everything

that you do!

Cathy Shelor…Your knowledge of SPC has been invaluable and your wonderful sense of humor sets a lovely tone for

the day. Thank you!

The Session…Thank you en masse, for seeing into the future with our eyes and joining with WFCP in our venture.

“Miss” Ruth Oregar…You are “the bomb,” to use modern vernacular. Your smile, your never-ending interest in our

preschool and yes, your delightful giggle always brighten our day.

Bill Honeycutt…I thank you for helping me with our banner, for being our plumber and handyman and for the always

interesting banter that ensues when we are in the same room.

Lynn Watkins and Vickie Gaskill…The two of you are wonderful assets to our Board of Directors and to me

personally. Thank you for the countless hours you volunteer to WFCP.

Dick Heriot…We did it! We have both a terrific playground and an incredible Memorial Garden. It was a pleasure to

work with you!

Betty Tysor…It is a pleasure to work with you as SPC’s Building Committee representative. Thank you for the

immediate attention you give us.

Thank you to all, who have prayed for us and supported us financially. If I have missed anyone, a Thank You is in my

heart.

On behalf West Forsyth Christian Preschool, I reiterate how blessed we are to be in union with Shallowford Presbyterian

Church in achieving the awesome goal of educating these young children in the ways of our Lord!
